We provide a warranty of 6 months from the date of purchase for manufacturing defect. If the item has a manufacturing defect, please include a picture (or pictures) with your order number and email us at support@orbist.co.uk .
A manufacturing defect is a defect in the structure of the product that is not due to usual wear or tear and affects appearance or function. 6 month limited warranty void if not purchased from orbist.co.uk. Some defects, such as broken soles, go beyond the 6-month limited warranty. Vicco reserves the right to inspect any shoe to determine warranty coverage. Sometimes we may inspect shoes based on photo confirmation of a possible manufacturing defect. Orbist does not provide a repair service.
COVERED BY LIMITED WARRANTY
• Quality of leather - inconsistencies causing premature wear patterns
• Connection of the top and base components
• Outsole durability - will not degrade, crack or split under normal use
• Waterproof shoe models only: Guaranteed to be waterproof for the life of the product
• Sewing
NOT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY
• Poor fit
• Any changes such as heel strikes or resolution
• Sewing or hardware failure, separation of soles or sole components due to catching, snagging or other abnormal wear accidents
• Leather not treated properly to prevent it from drying out
• Light functionality on illuminated base models
• Waterproof shoe models: Failure due to complete immersion or allowing water to drip from the upper part of the shoe
• Material failure due to excessive wear, unreasonable use, exposure to caustic or abrasive chemicals or excessive heat
RETURN AND INSPECTION PROCESS
Vicco reserves the right to inspect any shoe to determine warranty coverage. If, after inspection, the shoes are found to be defective, they become the property of Vicco and you will be given a replacement, refund or online store credit. In case of replacement, we will cover the shipping costs for the return and have a new one shipped to you free of charge. If the shoes are found not to be covered by the 6-month limited warranty, the shoes will be returned to you. All Orbist warranty decisions are final.
Allow up to two weeks for the warranty review process to occur.
Sometimes we may issue a refund based on photographic confirmation of a product damage.
